Former President John Agyekum Kufuor, arrived back home Sunday night after addressing meetings in Paris, France, and London, the United Kingdom.

In Paris, Former President Kufuor addressed a forum by the Progressives for Climate Change, which is a network of European civil society organizations engaged in climate change.

At their meeting with General Buhari, Former President Kufuor said it was important that all stakeholders in the elections played according the ‘rules of the game’ and did not engage in acts that will cast doubt on the outcome of the elections.

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor Sunday commended Nigerians for the peaceful and orderly conduct of their elections on Saturday in spite of difficulties encountered at the opening of polls.

Former President Kufuor, leader of a 250-strong Observer Mission of the Economic Community of West African State (ECOWAS), was early at the polling centres but most opened at least, one-and-a-half hours late, owing to what officials have attributed to boycott of drivers to convey voting materials because they had not been paid.
